Good Evening world! Or whatever time of day you may be reading this. This being my first post, I suppose I should introduce myself. As you can see, my name is Eric Johnson and I'm currently finishing up my Bachelors degree in Biblical and Theological studies at Nyack College. Strangely enough, I'm not really taking any theology classes at the moment. All of those credits transferred in from Elim Bible Institute. Other than Greek, I pretty much just taking the dullest of the core classes. The point of this blog is pretty much for my own satisfaction. Last summer I realized that when I'm simply writing for the sake of writing and there isn't some big research project that I'm putting my energy into, I actually rather enjoy it. In fact, I managed to finish up a small book of my thoughts before this semester started and my dad put it together and published it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to start any new projects lately due to class work, but I still have a desire to have some outlet of my thoughts. Since my focus is theology and I enjoy reading philosophy, I tend to read what I've learned into pretty much everything I experience. This applies to movies, books, tv shows, and conversations I have every day. My hope is that I'll be able to get my resulting thoughts out in the open with this blog and that it will make some interesting reading for someone out there in cyberspace, or at the very least satisfy my need to get my musings somewhere solid. I'm not sure quite yet whether or not I'll begin following a schedule of when I'll update the blog but the simple fact that I watch Lost every week should be enough reason to think I'll have something on my mind at least once around that time every seven days. Well, That's all for now. Good night world!
